Hi all, this is an addition to my original post on 24 March 2023. I had the operation on my spine on 31st March 2023 and i said that i would update as soon as i recover, well the good news is that i feel much better than i expected considering the level of repair of my spine. I actually feel no pain at the area of entry nor the actual spine remodelling, only the shoulder joints are a little sore. Anyway, all i wanted to say is that Dr Haleem worked wonders on my spine. He did say during consultation that he could not cure my condition but only stop it from worsening. However, Dr Haleem inadvertantly gave me a little bit of mis-information because though he says he couln't cure my problem the problems i had before the operation have now disappeared and i feel much better than previously expected. He even came by to see me every day until discharge. I was so impressed by the skill of Dr Haleem and his team that i managed to get a picture with him. So i thank you Dr Haleem and your team for making me more mobile than previously and i wish you all the very best of everything, including all the staff who attended my needs duing my three day stay. God bless you all and i thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for me..

Hi I had a appointment today and was nervous however I was pit at ease straight away listened to and shown and understood what treatment would be required when I feel I need to overall a pleasant experience

I would like to thank Mr Haleem, who on the 8th of March 2023 operated on my lower back to relieve pressure on my spinal cord. I woke up without pain only slight discomfort which was to be expected and since then I have been fine. I cannot praise Mr Haleem and the staff at Birmingham Orthopaedic Hospital enough, they were courteous and kind and Mr Haleem visited me everyday to enquire how I was getting along. I have been under the care of a very jovial Dr Haleem for nearly six months to date. He is very respectful and also took the time to listen to me as well as my concerns. It was recommended that i have an operation on my spine to rectify the narrowing of my spinal canal. Dr Haleem explained the process clearly to me in a calm manner. In truth, i could not desire a better doctor in terms of his commitment to care of his patients, therefore i doubt there could be more improvement as his persona, actions and his calm demeanor are top notch. I'm due for the op in the next few days and will update when i recover.

Mr Haleem was brilliant from start to finish. Very clear in explaining my issue, how it would be resolved and the recovery period. He listened, advised and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He gained my full trust within the first 5 minutes of meeting him and my faith in him proved correct. I’m now near the end of my recovery period and feel a million times better than before the surgery thanks to the skill, time and care by Mr Haleem.
